DESCRIPTION:\n\nRetreat description\n\nThis session is run in Microsoft 
 Teams by Library Volunteers. The aim of the Online Retreat is to provide a 
 protected space\, free from distractions\, that allows you the time to 
 focus and reflect on any University work you have to do. Our guest speaker 
 at this week's writing retreat will be archivist Claire Weatherall. Claire 
 is employed by the university and is based at Hull History Centre. She will 
 be talking to us about the services provided by Hull History Centre\, as 
 well as the archival collections and additional resources available to 
 support your research. She will also touch on archival copyright and 
 referencing original material in your work.\n\nThis includes but is not 
 limited to \n\n\n	Writing your next assignment\n	Revising for your 
 exams\n	Researching around the subject of your next assignment/chapter of 
 your dissertation/thesis\n	Working through the reading list's for your 
 classes\n	Planning for your upcoming assignments\n\n\nWho is this retreat 
 for\n\nThis Retreat is solely online\, via Microsoft Teams\, and is an 
 opportunity to make meaningful progress on your University work in a 
 supportive setting with fellow\, like-minded scholars. The aim is to create 
 an online\, academic community that you can be a part of in the comfort of 
 your own space - a virtual Library.\n\nPlease note that this Retreat is for 
 current University of Hull students only\, and you will be required to 
 authenticate your student account upon registration.\n\nFacilitator\n\nThis 
 retreat is run by the Library Volunteers Group.
