SUMMARY:Online Library Writing and Research Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Join the Library staff team\, and fellow students\, for our 
 Online Library Writing and Research Retreat!\n\nThe aim of the Online 
 Retreat is to provide a protected space\, free from distractions\, that 
 allows you the time to focus and reflect on any University work you have to 
 do.\n\n \n\nThis includes\, but is not limited to:\n\n- Writing your next 
 assignment\n\n- Revising for your exams\n\n- Researching around the subject 
 of your next assignment/chapter of your dissertation/thesis\n\n- Working 
 through the reading list's for your classes\n\n- Planning for your upcoming 
 assignments\n\n \n\nThis Retreat is online\, via Microsoft Teams\, and is 
 an opportunity to make meaningful progress on your University work in a 
 supportive setting with fellow\, like-minded scholars. The aim is to create 
 an online\, academic community that you can be a part of in the comfort of 
 your own space - a virtual Library.\n\nWe have also booked Teaching Room 4 
 in the Library\, for those who would like to attend the session in person. 
 The Online Retreat will be playing from the screen to follow along with. 
 Please clarify in the booking form whether you will be attending in person 
 or online. \n\n \n\nPlease note that this Retreat is for current University 
 of Hull students only\, and you will be required to authenticate your 
 student account upon registration.\n\n \n\nThe Online Retreat's structure 
 will be as follows:\n\n- 12:45: Virtual doors open\n\n- 13:00-13:20: Brief 
 introductions and discussion\n\n- 13:20-15:45: Writing/Research period 
 (microphones and webcams off for this - but do use the shared chat if you 
 have any questions!)\n\n- 15:45-16:00: Wrap up\n\nBreaks will be included 
 throughout\, and Library staff will check in with you every so often and 
 moderate the space.\n\n \n\nIf you would like to join us for our Online 
 Retreat\, then please fill this form out with your student details and 
 register. You will then recieve a booking confirmation email with the 
 Retreat's Microsoft Teams link once registered. A reminder email\, with the 
 link included\, will also be sent a day prior to the event.\n\n \n\nAny

 will get back to you promptly.
