Reports are remarkably varied. The style, structure and treatment of information in a report can be strongly influenced by disciplinary practices, and by context and audience, all of which you will need to take into account when writing. This workshop will focus on the underlying principles of reports in an academic context.

By the end of the workshop you will be able to:

·         Understanding the distinctive structures of report writing

·         Appreciating the demands of the audience

·         Identifying the strategies for developing different types of reports

Who is this workshop for:

This workshop is ideal for undergraduate students from any discipline who are relatively new to report writing at University, or who wish to improve on their report writing.

This workshop is run by a Skills Team Adviser with the support of trained student Skills Leaders.
