In this 45-minute session, Isobel from the Neurodivergent Support Team will provide an overview of Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) and demystify some of the jargon.
This will include:
- What DSA is
- Why students might choose to apply for it
- Who is eligible
- How and when to apply
- What happens at each stage of the process
- What to expect from a DSA Specialist mentor or DSA Specialist study skills tutor
- Useful sources of information and guidance
There will be time for questions and opportunities to share experiences.
This session is available to all who are, or think they may be Neurodivergent.
Stay on after the session for further support (optional)
After this session has finished, Isobel will be available from 3pm - 3.45pm to offer further practical support with any part of the process you are struggling with. For example, you may need support with contacting your DSA provider or want to discuss how to change provider or make the most of your DSA support.
