Retreat description
This session is run in Microsoft Teams by Library Volunteers. The aim of the Online Retreat is to provide a protected space, free from distractions, that allows you the time to focus and reflect on any University work you have to do.
Guest Speaker - Unlocking the Library: Secrets to Smarter Searching
Join us at 12:45 on Friday 19th September to hear from Fiona Ware, Academic & Library Specialist based in the Library’s Skills Team who will outline top tips and techniques for finding, using and accessing the Library’s collections.
This demonstration will look at how to navigate the vast collections that the University Library has access to, providing useful tips and techniques to search effectively using the Library search. It will also showcase additional Library databases that will find even more resources and highlight alternative full text access routes.

The aim is to create an online, academic community that you can be a part of in the comfort of your own space - a virtual Library.
