Event title:
In-person study together session - using the Pomodoro Technique
Event description
Event description
This is an opportunity to bring your work to a quiet supportive space and get things done along with a few other students. The two-hour session is facilitated by Isobel from the Neurodivergent Support Team.
We work in short bursts because this is an effective approach, taking regular breaks to have a quick breather and then focus back on the task you are working on.
The session is held in Larkin 113 with good natural light.
We will help each other to keep on track and have a productive afternoon's study.
You'll need to bring your laptop and have a clear idea of what study tasks you want to achieve.
Make it manageable!
For example, it could be:
- to read and make notes on a text or article
- to review your notes from a recent lecture and write them up/summarise them
- to begin to write up a section of an assignment
- review your revision notes
Please arrive in good time so that you are ready to begin at 2 pm. If you've changed your mind and are not attending PLEASE cancel so that someone else can take your place!
Whether you are new to this technique, or have been to these sessions before many times, you are welcome.
