Hallo!

You are warmly invited to join us for our Chit-chat German.

 

This is an informal/ social language activity designed for learners of German CEFR A2 level and above (CEFR: Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). 

 

According to CEFR (Council of Europe), a learner of German A2 ‘Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.’

 

The session will be facilitated by our specialist language tutor— Lilian Gergely.

 

There will be guided conversation based around various topics. It provides a wonderful opportunity for you to put your German into practice and meet students/ staff from across campus (who share the same interest) through conversational German.  

 

Entry by Registration Only. It is extremely important that you are able commit yourself in attending following your registration as places are limited and in demand.
