We warmly invite PGRs across all schools to attend the 3rd Research Culture and Community Event – taking place as below:
- Wednesday, 19th of April 2023 between 15:00-17:00
- Organised by the School of Engineering Graduate Research Director (GRD) Dr Vicky Skoulou.
We have the honour to host an international speaker Dr A. Michopoulos, University of Cyprus - The role of Engineering disciplines on the improvement of energy efficiency and performance (Hosted by the School of Engineering GRD).
This event is for any and all PGRs interested in any aspects of Interdisciplinary Research in the field of energy efficiency.
We will have host an internationally recognised academic, Dr A. Michopoulos, in the field of Energy Efficiency followed by a facilitated PGR discussion and networking opportunities.
15.00- 15.10 Welcome and Introductions
15.10 - 15.40 Dr A. Michopoulos : The role of Engineering disciplines on the improvement of energy efficiency and performance – (including 10 min of Q&A to Dr Michopoulos)
15.40 – 15:50 My journey to PhD with Oliver Morgan Clague. Oliver will share his experience of being an undergraduate student at Hull and staying with the University to complete his Industrial PhD.
15:50 – 16:00 Facilitated PGR Discussion and Networking
16:00 – 17:00 PGR posters showcase
