Overview

This workshop is focussed on what’s ‘in the news’ and each workshop will look at a different contemporary news topic. You will have the opportunity to improve your reading and speaking skills, build new vocabulary and discuss the topic in small groups in a relaxed classroom environment.

Learning Outcomes

In this workshops, you will:

• Practise reading and verbal summarising skills

• Develop related vocabulary

• Re-enforce new vocabulary in conversation

• Develop critical thinking skills

• The session is 60 minutes long.

• This workshop occurs every two weeks and each workshop focuses on a different topic
