Event description

Event description

1.   Welcome and Introductions - (5 mins)

2.   PGR Representative Update/Discussion - (5-10mins)

Cathy and Steve, your FACE PGR reps will update you on their current activities and plans. It’s a chance for you to ask them to represent you on any issue.

3. The Gender Research Network with Dr Catherine Baker, Reader in 20th Century History, School of Humanities, FACE and Dr Nicola O'Leary, Senior Lecturer in Criminology, School of Criminology, Sociology and Policing, FACE.

Come along and hear about the expansive and diverse research areas of those within the Faculty's newly formed Gender Research Network. Come and see how a research network works in practice, what sort of things we do, the variety of collaboration opportunities on offer and the support that we give to each other . There are many benefits of being part of this Network - particularly for PGRs - but don't take our word for it - come along and hear it for yourself.

4.   Any other PGR questions

Take the opportunity to ask questions that come to you on the day, or come prepared in advance.

5.   'The Collective Whinge'

Take the opportunity to raise any issues that are affecting you in a safe space. Chatham House rules apply.
