Forecasting using data-intensive hybrid artificial neural network models in environmental and energy engineering applications
The Faculty of Science and Engineering, Engineering Department presents:
Forecasting using data-intensive hybrid artificial neural network models in environmental and energy engineering applications with guest speaker Dr Sheen Cabaneros
Dr. Sheen Mclean Cabaneros is currently a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering and is another exciting Early Career Colleague within the Engineering Department. His qualifications include a bachelor’s and master’s degree in applied mathematics and a PhD in mechanical engineering.
Sheen specialises in environmental engineering with an emphasis on the utilisation of machine learning techniques and his talk will be a fascinating insight of how modelling can contribute to the net zero drive.
