Spotlight online exhibitions workshop
This Teams workshop will introduce you to Spotlight (http://spotlight.projectblacklight.org/), a tool for creating image-rich online exhibitions with the aim of supporting Knowledge Exchange. Spotlight is an open source exhibition-building tool that the University Library and Archives team have been exploring with the support of HEIF. This session will introduce you to the tool, highlight some case studies and encourage discussions about how the use of digital collections and online exhibitions may support your Knowledge Exchange activities.
1) Introduction and overview
2) Spotlight demonstration
3) Case Studies from Blaydes House and the University Archives
4) Breakout discussions:
- What are your experiences with online exhibitions of academic research? What are good examples you have come across?
