To mark Hull’s City of Culture year the online Oxford Dictionary of National Biography commissioned 39 new entries for distinguished people born in the city or otherwise associated with it  -bringing the total number of Hull entries to 300.  This is definitely something to celebrate, and we will be marking the occasion with an exhibition of the new entries, and guest appearances by:

Dr Robb Robinson

Emma Butcher

Dr Susan Walton

Who are the authors of some of the biographies and who will be talking about some of the extraordinary adventures and achievements of Hull personalities.
