Event description

Event description

A master document contains connections to a group of related chapters, or subdocuments. By working with a master document you can organise and edit the related chapters easily, while still keeping everything together.

Master class requirements: It is essential that participants attend both "Microsoft Word 1: Styles and automatic features" and "Microsoft Word 2: Producing a thesis template" prior to attending this master class.

By the end of the master class you will be able to:

  • Learn how the Outlining feature works to organise and manage headings
  • Understand the different levels in this feature and how to assign it to a sub-document

Who is this master class for?

This master class is useful for postgraduate students and researchers who need to use master documents.

This workshop is run by a Library Skills Adviser
