This workshop serves as an introduction to a range of tools that can help you work more effectively in the digital environment. Even if you are confident with your ICT abilities, it is easy to miss really useful apps and online tools that can transform the way you work and make you a more effective and efficient student.

Although not a requirement, students are encouraged to bring any mobile devices or tablets that they use for study along to the workshop.

By the end of the workshop you will be able to:

  • Use a range of online tools and apps to enhance your studies
  • Look at how you can use smartphones and tablets as part of your studies
  • Understand how the following tools can specifically help your studies:
    • Referencing tools
    • Social media
    • Blogs
    • Cloud storage
