This workshop is designed to introduce the process of planning, researching, structuring and writing a literature review.

By the end of the workshop you will be able to:

  • The purpose of a literature review
  • Looking at examples of different literature reviews
  • Searching the literature
  • Reading research material critically
  • Effective note taking
  • Structuring a review
  • How to write it (using a clear line of argument)

Who is this workshop for?

It is aimed at final year or masters students writing a systematic literature review, dissertation or independent study.
