Event title:
Using EndNote to manage your references
Event description
Event description
Referencing your work can be quite difficult, but if you use dedicated software such as EndNote, this can take all the hard work of referencing away. Learn how to build your own library of references; see how easy it is to create folders to store specific references. Choose the required Output style your department requires. EndNote works with MS Word so you can easily insert a reference into your work. EndNote is on the campus network but this workshop will also show you how you can use EndNote Web and transfer references from the web to your existing library.
Is EndNote the right tool for you? Please see the information and comparisons on our Bibliographic Management webpage
By the end of the workshop you will be able to:
- Build your own library
- Create and organise your folders and references
- Work with the appropriate Output Style
- Insert your references and generate a bibliography in Microsoft Word
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is useful for students and researchers at any level who are looking to use EndNote for their bibliographic management. Bibliographic management is a ‘must’ for any extended piece of academic writing including dissertations and thesis.
